So I guess my issue might be my data after all. Go figure. Seems to work nicely now.

Also, I ended up adding an option to account for the hinge on the DS. Now you can split the image to 2 screens and have it look as if part of the image is obstructed by the hinge.

I’d like to show a screenshot of this but seeing that none of the emulators show the spacing of the hinge, I’ll just wait until either (a) I get the rest of my gear together and take a webcam shot or (b) someone gets me a shot of this running on their DS.

I ended up fixing the issues where my bottom screen image appears to be shifted 2 pixels to the right. Aligns much better now.

I believe this may be due to libnds’ BG_GFX_SUB being off by 2. Either that or it’s something I’m overlooking.

Just playing with a tool for my use. It’s not really anything special, just splits a PNG image into 2 screens and converts it to NDS pixel format (BGR555).

Well, as I said, I’m working on a new page for my DS development projects. This time, I figured I’d do it in blog form so I can easily update stuff. The donation drive was a big success, wasn’t expecting the goal to be reached so soon. I’d like to thank the following people for their help:
